Peter earned his B.S. in physics from Binghamton University in 2019. While an undergraduate Peter conducted research modeling battery cathodes using DFT in the Smeu lab. His project in the Copp lab is focused on using machine learning to predict the  properties of peptide- and DNA-based electronic and optical nanomaterials. Outside of lab Peter enjoys, cooking, lifting weights, and playing board games.
